CHAPTER 2: A FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND UPDATE

Hello!

Apologies for the inconsistency, I was busy with stuff and I can't fit working on the next chapter in time, but I think I found a void, so announcements, announcements.

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT: Chapter 2 will be up more or less by mid-October or late-October. While Chapter 3 will still not have any particular release date.

SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT: I guess I'll end updating with Chapter 3 since I'm planning to have a TPB of the series with a complete story. Plus, I want to leave you guys with a cliffhanger. Might post Chapters 4 and 5 once I get in the mood.

THIRD ANNOUNCEMENT: Since I talked about a TPB, might release it this Summer Komikon with re-drawn pages on Chapter 1 + exclusive art and pages and other stuff.

So, I guess, that's all of my announcements. 'Til mid-Octorber!

NATIONAL HEROES CHAPTER ONE ALTERNATE PAGES

So, I've been making National heroes for a long long time. And of course, NH has its own drafts, as well. So, I'm gonna show you guys the draft pages for Chapter One instead of letting them die in my hard drive.

The speech balloon was still crudely done because I haven't learned how to make them properly until the final set.

So, in the second draft set, I tried coloring them in PS but it takes up too much time and I'm only editing in a computer shop and all those stuff.

CHAPTER ONE: HERMES

 

 

Okay, so that was National Heroes: Hermes. Fought against procrastination just to post this and beyond.

So, if you guys are asking, the song I used in the scene where Hermes dies is "Famous Last Words" by My Chemical Romance. Here is the song.

                                                                               

I actually made a playlist on Spotify about National Heroes and it's full of MCR material, but nevermind that. Since this is my first time, feel free to comment on what you think on this chapter so that I can improve it on parts of Chapter Two and beyond.

Sorry if NH: Hermes won't be up until the end of June, because I'm actually planning it to be released together with NH: A Funeral For a Friend.

But promise, NH: Hermes will be up soon, just you wait.

Countdown to Trailer

NATIONAL HEROES UPDATE

So, as you all know, NH will be released this month. So here is the schedule provided for this month.

May 16 will be the release of the teaser trailer for the comic and May 30 will be the release of the first issue.

So, that's it, and we'll start the countdown for the teaser tomorrow. See you 5/16!
